Cad design
With more than 40 years experience in die cutting, gluing and structural design, our design team will work with you to create a package that is both attractive and practical. We will provide you with a prototype from our sample cutting plotter to insure the perfect fit of the package design to your product. Once the design has been created and approved, we will provide a digital dieline of the carton for graphic design.
The digital file will also be used to generate the cutting die for your job, insuring accuracy from start to finish.
If your project runs on automated equipment, we will work with you to insure that it runs smoothly on your equipment.
For start-up companies and the medical/bioscience manufacturers, our cad design department can also produce modest runs of your carton for qualification without going to the expense of tooling.
Prepress
Our Prepress department will work with you to create copy for your printed project, or review your supplied digital files to insure a quality printed result. We can provide a soft proof prior to a digital output for your approval, and digital outputs for a CAD cut mockup
Printing
With our 40 inch Komori press, we can print up to 5 colors in a single pass, with an inline aqueous coating, offering both gloss and matte finishes on substrates ranging from 70 LB label stock to .030” chipboard
Die Cutting
With our Bobst diecutter, we can die cut sheets up to 30 x 41 inches and handle calipers up to .036.
Stamping & Embossing
Sierra Packaging can add the punch of hot foil stamping and registered embossing to enhance the look of you package.
Gluing
Our straight line and right angle gluers can automatically glue and fold a multitude of carton configurations, from the simplest of sleeves, to autobottom cartons, 4 and 6 corner trays, mailers, and cartons with integrated dividers and partitions. We also have peel & seal application capabilities.
Warehousing and Fullfilment
Sierra Packaging can receive your product in bulk and repack it in your new cartons. We can store and maintain inventory for just in time delivery. We will work with you to ensure that you get your product, where and when you need it.
Cello Windowing
Sierra Packaging also has windowing capabilites, allowing us to place a window in your project to display your product. We can apply window patches in a multitude of shapes and sizes, using a wide variety of plastic, rangin in thickness from .00125” to .007”
